Mario & Luigi, whether Dream Team specifically or not, bolsters those ideals via a broader playground rather than tightly constrained platforming. Mario’s chubby steps and Luigi’s fear stricken, accidental heroics are best matched with RPG landscapes. Even if those genre spaces prove needlessly wearisome, they remain conducive to Nintendo’s hallmark IPs.”
