Monument Valley (iOS) Review

“Ida’s world moves, often illogically. Lines shift, pillars rotate, and boxes open. How or why is never stated. Monument Valley grabs at the device’s owner, turning them into a god-like maestro who dictates what goes where and how. Ida only follows when she can and only on paths someone else sees. Her perspective would be unimaginably twisted. In the broadest sense, Monument Valley is a puzzle dressed in artistry’s clothes, like Sony’s once peculiar Echochrome which is no longer so peculiar.”
